How it works

Four steps. Then you never upload your ID again.

No long forms. No document sent to a database. Scan once, and you are done, everywhere.

01

Scan

Your ID, once, on your device. The app checks that it is really you, right there on your phone. It takes under a minute, and that is the last time anyone asks you to do it.

What happens to your dataNothing is uploaded. The scan runs on your device. Only the verified credential is kept, and only by you.
02

Tap

A platform asks you to verify. You see a single prompt that tells you exactly what they want. Your age. That your identity is confirmed. You tap to approve, and only what you approved is shared.

You are in controlYou see every request before you approve it. You can say no. The platform gets the answer to its question, not your whole profile.
03

Only the answer

The platform receives a verified yes or no. It confirms what they needed to know and reveals nothing else. Not your name, not your face, not your date of birth unless that was the exact thing they asked. The answer is proven without the document behind it ever leaving your phone.

How that worksYour credential stays on your device. When a platform asks, it gets only the answer, sent as a verifiable credential. Nothing else moves.
04

Yours, always

Your credential lives on your phone and belongs to you. Every platform you use after this is a single tap. No re-scanning, no re-uploading, no starting over. It works anywhere OwnlyMe is supported.

If you lose your phoneYou can restore your credential through the app. It comes back to you, and to no one else.

Simple enough?

Free for every person. Get set up in under a minute.
